A Lost Bag
No sooner had the bell rung than a middle-aged man, accompanied by our teacher, walked into the classroom. All of us looked at one another. Questions were written on every face.
The man stepped onto the stage and said, I lost my bag on my way to my office two days ago. As I was wondering where I could find it, I received a phonecall. It was a girl, who had picked up my lost bag near a bus-stop and she had found my phone number in the bag.
Then I realized I must have lost my bag when I was hurrying to catch the bus. The girl didn t leave until I returned to the bus-stop and got back my bag. But she then left in such a hurry that I had no time to ask her name. I have spent two days visiting the schools nearby. I would like to thank her.
As he was speaking, our teacher walked to Guanlan Xu and asked her, Why didn t you tell me the reason when you came to school late the day before yesterday? At that time, Guanlan had to look up. Before she said anything, the man cried out, It is her. She is the very person who returned the bag to me! All the eyes were fixed on Guanlan with appreciation.
Don t make love lost for grabbing red envelopes
Grabbing red envelops was popular during the Spring Festival all over the country. People sat in front of the TVs, computers, shaking their mobile phones all the day and ignored their family.
In my opinion, grabbing a red envelope is a new form for people to participate in Network Activity. In some way, handing out a red envelope to a family or friend who lives thousands of miles away can be a way of paying a New Year call, sharing their blessings and joys with more people.
However, although there are benefits, the result of it distances the family who are beside them. The Spring Festival is a time that we spend with our relatives happily, but because of the little money, our energy and time are wasted in grabbing red envelopes and we forget to express our wishes to parents. Enjoyable atmosphere is driven away by madness at grabbing red envelopes. A husband, who was puzzled by the action of his wife, asked: Why do you want to grab the money, I ll pay you, OK?
When we like something crazily, we should set a limit to it. As the saying goes: A thing turns into its opposite if pushed too far. So let s put down mobile phones and move our eyes from the screen to feel the warmth of the traditional Spring Festival.
